Todd spent the first 20 years of his career leading his family real-estate business in multifamily apartment & condominium development, new construction, acquisitions, & renovations with deal sizes up to $45MM.   As a technology provider, Todd was the COO of Indatus, the leading provider of automated answering solutions for apartment communities.  After Indatus was acquired by RealPage in 2015, Todd served as the VP Product / Communications for the Answer Automation and Contact Center products at RealPage, responsible for product strategy, pricing, and roadmap oversight.    Todd spent two years as VP of Information Technology with Buckingham Companies, a full service developer with over $1.5 billion in asset value across 7 states.

Ash Bell

A renowned apartment industry veteran, Ash has focused his career leading, developing, and advising Proptech companies that have transformed multifamily operations. Today he is CRO of Spruce, a lifestyle services company serving the apartment industry operating in seven markets and rapidly expanding its footprint nationwide. 


Prior to joining Spruce, Ash was EVP of Strategic Partnerships at home relocation tech startup Updater. He created and led the company’s real estate division, which became the largest division at the company servicing more than 3m apartment homes. He launched Updater’s Insurance Division and helped with a successful IPO on the ASX. Ash maintains an advisory role with the company and is a licensed insurance agent in all 50 states. Before Updater, Ash was Vice President of Multifamily Sales Operations and Partner at The Rainmaker Group, bringing Rainmaker LRO to more than 2m units and driving them toward an acquisition by RealPage for $300m.


Ash holds a B.A. from Malone University where he was an Academic All-American and two-time National Tennis Qualifier. He is a well-known industry speaker, most notably representing Updater as it was named the winner of the 2015 NMHC OPTECH LaunchPad competition for start-ups. He has also served as an entrepreneurship speaker and coach for North Carolina State University’s Albright Entrepreneurs Village. Bell has been married to his amazing wife Kathy for 24 years. Jonas Bordo is the CEO and Co-Founder of Dwellsy, the free residential rental marketplace that makes it easy to find hard to find rentals.


Prior to co-founding Dwellsy, Jonas was a senior executive at several leading real estate firms including Essex Property Trust and Bentall GreenOak and was with the Boston Consulting Group after graduating with his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.  


Jonas has had the good fortune to build, re-build and lead amazing teams across the multifamily and commercial real estate operational and strategic spectrum, manage $100M+ P&Ls, deliver significant profit increases, orchestrate the sale of several businesses, develop a strategic plan for one of the world’s leading symphony orchestras, implement a Toyota production system and create more than 40 brands.

Chris Cutcliff

Chris Cutcliff is Senior Director of Corporate Finance at Greystar. In his current role, Chris is responsible for Greystar’s venture investment portfolio and manages internal coinvestment programs. Chris also works on transactions involving Greystar’s bonds and credit facility, as well as analysis of M&A opportunities and other balance sheet investments. Chris is also a member of the Strategic Opportunities Committee, which is tasked with identifying strategic priorities and launching new strategies globally for the enterprise.


Prior to joining Greystar in 2016, Chris worked at Simon Property Group in Capital Markets & Treasury, focused on managing corporate debt programs, liquidity forecasting, long-range planning, and analysis of M&A opportunities.

Jon Dishotsky

Jon Dishotsky is CEO and cofounder of Starcity. Starcity is a global, tech-enabled urban living brand serving renters in expensive cities. They currently operate 500 beds with a pipeline of thousands more in development.


Jon grew up in Palo Alto and lived in a co-housing home where Stanford students lived with his family. He graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor's in Managerial Economics and joined Cushman & Wakefield a few years before the 2008 recession. He did over 3M square feet of commercial real estate transactions primarily with hyper-growth startups and in that experience found that housing affordability was a major problem in cities which led him to start Starcity in 2016.

Brandon Hundley

Brandon Hundley is currently Head of Sales at MeetElise. At MeetElise, Brandon is focused on building partnerships with leading innovators in the rentals space. Brandon believes that our industry is primed for a fundamental shift towards automation. He believes that leveraging new technologies like artificial intelligence will provide a better experience for consumers and allow operators to efficiently utilize their human capital.

Brandon has spent the majority of his career in the rentals/multifamily space having run a regional ILS in Seattle and recently working as Director of Sales on the Zillow Group Rentals team. Given this experience, he is able to understand the specific challenges that operators face and the stress that comes with finding an apartment as a renter.

Matt Knight

Matt Knight is a PropTech investor and advisor focused on the commercial and multifamily markets. He is the founder and owner of the largest angel group in the world focused exclusively on technology in real estate and apartments, the PropTech Angel Group. He also actively works with a few institutional owners of real estate on building an investment and piloting strategy around emerging technologies.


Matt was formerly a General Partner at Shadow Ventures, a venture capital fund focused exclusively on construction and real estate technology. As Managing Director of the Hamilton Zanze Investor Relations team, Sean Luthy oversees day-to-day management of the Investor Relations team.

Sean brings 11 years of Hamilton Zanze experience to his role in Investor Relations. Prior to joining the IR team, Sean managed the HZ property portfolio for more than five years as managing director on the Asset Management team. Derek Peterson

Lori Torres

I've left corporate America to start a new endeavor as an entrepreneur. After consulting for multiple organizations in the real estate industry, I launched Parcel Pending, a company focused on solving the package management challenges at apartment communities. This solution combines electronic lockers with software to notify residents when a package arrives and allows for 24/7 pick-up.

Prior to this new endeavor, I held the position of Senior Vice President, Property Operations at the Irvine Company. My tenure at the Irvine Company began in January 2000 and responsibilities included operational oversight of the Company’s entire multifamily portfolio, consisting of 1,200 property management associates operating over 44,000 apartment homes.

Previous leadership roles included a Senior Regional Manager position at BRE Properties, Inc., a San Francisco publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust and Regional Manager at McNeil Real Estate Management Company based in Texas.
